moody PNW wedding florals at a modern outdoor venue

Micah + Ally are adorablllle. Seriously. When I first met them for coffee, I couldn't wait to work with them! You can tell through these beautiful photos that they are head over heels for each other + just a joy to be around. Ally was such a fun, easy going bride + gave me so much creative freedom. I had a blast from start to finish with these two + to be honest, I'm sad it's all over!

For their florals, this couple had some really fun ideas but ultimately gave us a lot of creative freedom. Together we came up with a unique ceremony backdrop. On our copper arbor we installed lush greenery appearing as though it grew up from the ground. Then behind the couple we strung muted maroon florals organically hanging down from the top. It was a fun combination of a classic arbor with a fun modern twist with the strung flowers.

Ally’s bouquet had a lot of lush + local florals in a moody color scheme. My two favorite elements were the maroon orchids + local cape daisies. Lastly, the head table had an awesome runner of hop vines + some fun fruit elements such as pomegranates, plums + some purple artichokes!

Scroll through the photos below to see all the other incredible details - Micah’s maroon suit, Ally’s velvet shoes + the sign the couple designed for themselves. Head over to our featured work page if you want to see more about this wedding + it’s Junebug Feature!
