intimate + boho amalfi coast wedding with lush florals
Everything about this trip was a dream!! When Amy asked us to come do their florals + styling we couldn’t help but say YES right away! The wedding took place at Agriturismo Sant'Alfonso such an idyllic setting right on the Mediterranean. The Agriturismo was complete with many outdoor terraces, a wine cellar + every meal is made by hand everyday. The wedding was just over twenty guests with a ceremony in front of a historic chapel on the property + the reception at one long table under vines + hanging candles.
When we designed this event with Amy, we knew we wanted to bring together the beautiful Italian setting with her style + elements that would remind them of home. We took her color scheme but sourced all sorts of local florals for the bouquets + installs. We used natural linen napkins with woven chargers to compliment the feel of the Agriturismo. We finished off the design with all sorts of candles. The hanging candles above the reception were by far my favorite detail.
Sourcing the flowers was a big part of the experience for us. We worked with a local wholesaler + the language barrier was real for sure! In the end though we ended up with some beautiful eucalyptus + olive branches as well as lush amaranthus + huge awesome italian ranunculus as well as many other goodies!
We were lucky enough to join for the reception + let me just say, I don’t know how we’ll ever top it! The table top was abundant with lovely wine made on sight. The dinner was made up of so many beautiful courses - pizza, salads, fresh made breads, seafood + red meat. I don’t know how we managed to eat it all but we just couldn’t stop either. Everyone needs to experience an authentic Italian meal that transforms eating into an unforgettable memory.
Congratulations to Amy + Tim! We are so honored to have contributed to your special day! Can’t wait to go back someday + visit our new friends at the Agriturismo! We’ll finish with this awesome video Good Co was kind enough to make for us!
Thanks for reading along!
