We LOVE the Evergreen, but we’ve definitely never seen it like this! This event + all the floral installs truly transformed the space. From the color scheme to the disco lollipops + incredible cocktails this event was utter perfection!
Babes Brunch is an awesome community oriented event for women in the wedding industry! It’s such a fun way to meet, connect + create connections with like minded individuals. I was honored to do the florals for this event. With a fun + bright warm toned color scheme + lots of installs, I was IN right away!
When we started I knew I wanted to avoid using any traditional greenery. With the disco theme + the warm toned florals I wanted to keep things bright without a strong cool colored contrast. Thus we used bleached italian ruscus to compliment the lush florals in the centerpieces. My favorite part about the florals at this event was all the texture. Mixing dried + fresh florals as well as more modern versus traditional blooms made each piece really stand out as fresh + unique.
These were by far the largest installs we’ve ever made. It’s all spray painted baby’s breath. It took 20 cans of spray paint + 160 bunches of spray paint. That’s right 160!! There were 10 installs total running along 3 long tables for the brunch. It turned out to be more of an undertaking that we had initially realized. The baby’s breath took to each color differently + as it dried it changed form as well. This created many challenges along the process. I have to say though, the final results were pretty fun to see!
Getting to finally meet + chat with so many amazing individuals in the industry was such a fun + unique experience. The event was truly incredible complete with paella, incredible cocktails + a cotton candy machine! I walked away filled to the brim with excitement after this big project + connecting with so many incredible women!
